I've found myself in a foreign country 7-8 time zones away from most of my family and friends. Hopefully this will help you keep in touch with me and relate to this experience.

The Moon over Verona
I'm pretty happy with how this turned out.
Update:
Here is a similar photo, but with different moon positioning. (The moon was being a good model that morning.)
This particular wall in Verona is quite long, and when I first noticed the moon just slightly over it, I did a lot of maneuvering to try to find the perfect position. So, yeah, this is after 5 or 6 attempts (and a good half-hour of wandering and trying to find places without blocking trees or where I didn't have to stand in a busy street). My first tries were getting the moon in the little V-shaped notches in the merlons, but this one, focused on the moon and more or less centered in an embrasure is what I liked best.
