Why is it that the weather here is beautiful, until we are 10+ km away from home on our bikes? Only then does it rain...

At Monday, 18 April, 2005 , Unknown said...: Same reason the stores are open until you actually want food - because you don't get up and leave the house while the weather is nice/sun is up/stores are open! You dilly-dally on your compuer until your wife nags you into oblivion!

Oh well, I'll commiserate with you anyway. Same thing happened to hubby and me last weekend. Went to Waterloo for a family gig, set out early Saturday. Weather forecast was looking great. We got 1/2 an hour out of the Twin Cities and it started to rain. "No worries," I thought, "it's bound to clear up as we head South." Nope. Wound up biking anyway - raining and low 50s max. Next day, sunny and 75. What 'cha ya gonna do?
